Last month, the Fez Festival of Culinary Diplomacy took place in Fez at its third edition. It was a successful event, where many internationaly known Chefs and Scientists were invited during the four days festival, to share knowledge of the culinary art and healthy nutrition.

Pr Mourad Errasfa was honored to be invited to give a lecture on the health benefits of argan oil consumption, which was intitled: L‘huile d’argane: l’art culinaire au service d’une médecine alternative moderne. Participants at the conference could taste argan oil through a little gift of 30ml bottles of argan oil, and also they loved the taste of GRETHANGAD FULL ENERGY, an argan oil-based dessert made of a mixture of a dozen of local moroccan seeds, dry fruits, honey and argan oil, whose main culinary property is to bring a balanced omega6/omega3 ratio of fatty acids, and many vitamines, minerals, proteins, fibres and carbohydrates.

Every evening, during the festival, participants enjoyed music performances from Spain and Morocco, and also they enjoyed different dishes prepared by the international Chefs and their students for diners, at the Merinide’s Hotel.

The last day of the festival participants were invited to a very special lunch in the montains of Atlas near the town of Sefrou. There was also folklore music performed by local berber groups, and traditional berber horse race. Lunch was served under traditional berber tentes, and the food was just delicious!!

The Festival was organized by a professional team ( whose president is Mr Faouzi Skalli and the director is Oussama Skalli.
